The person behind the box

Hi, I’m Vanessa.

I’m an Orlando-based software engineer who spends a lot of her free time looking for good matcha, wandering through bookstores, taking too many photos of food, and collecting little pieces of the places I visit.

City Memory Box is where I keep them.

The idea behind the box

It started with a simple idea: I wanted somewhere to keep the places I loved — not just their addresses or what I ordered, but what it actually felt like to be there.

Here you’ll find restaurant reviews, bakery stops, coffee and matcha runs, boba shops, bookstores, and other little discoveries. The box begins in Orlando, but it comes with me wherever I go.
